HousePilot respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you visit our site or purchase a product.

What we collect

Order information: When you buy a product, Shopify (our checkout and delivery partner) collects your name, email, billing address, payment details, and order contents. We receive a copy of your order so we can fulfill it and provide support.
Browsing information: We collect pages viewed, time on site, device type, browser version, approximate location, and referral source through analytics and advertising tools.
Communications: If you email us or use a contact form, we keep that correspondence so we can respond.

How we use your data

To process, fulfill, and support your orders.
To measure how visitors use the site and improve the experience.
To understand whether our advertising is effective and to show relevant ads.
To send order confirmations and, if you opt in, product updates or marketing.
To detect fraud, abuse, or technical issues.

We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with service providers needed to run the business (e.g., Shopify, Meta, Google Analytics) or when required by law.

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to remember your session, measure site usage, and support advertising. A cookie is a small file stored by your browser that lets us recognize your device on repeat visits.

Essential cookies: Required for the site and cart to function properly.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. You can also manage your Meta ad preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences. Blocking advertising cookies may not affect site functionality, but it will limit our ability to measure ad performance.

Payments

Payments are processed by Shopify. We never see or store your full card number. Shopify handles payment data under its own privacy and security standards.

Advertising and analytics

We use the Meta Pixel and may use Google Analytics to measure site activity and ad performance. These services receive event data such as page views, add-to-cart actions, and completed purchases. Where possible, personal data is hashed before it is sent.

Data retention

We keep order and customer-support records for as long as necessary to fulfill orders, handle refunds or disputes, comply with legal obligations, and improve our products. Analytics and advertising data are retained according to the policies of the providers we use.

Email

We email you about your order. If you opt in, we may also send product updates. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data. You can also object to certain uses, such as targeted advertising.
